A VINTAGE ROBERT YELLOWHAIR INJUN PAINTING 1980
A Robert Yellowhair vintage oil on canvas painting, from the 1980s, in realistic impressionism magic realism style. The artwork depicts a shaman holding ritual paraphernalia, hovering against the starry sky. Signed by the author in the lower right and presented in a wooden frame. Robert Yellowhair 1937-2016 is a well-known artist, a full-blooded Native American Dine Navajo, borne in Arizona. His artworks are closely related to his origin and almost usually contain Injun motives. He was also very talented in many various areas such as buckle and saddle making and even managing the All Indian Rodeo Cowboy Association, where he was a past president.
