A BERLIN MAYOR PRESENTATION GERMAN BRONZE BEAR
A German presentation bronze bear was given to the mayor of Philadelphia by the mayor of Berlin. The bronze engraved plaque on the base features the following inscriptions in German: HERRN MAYORN H. A. MACKEY FÃœR DIE STADT PHILADELPHIA GEWIDMET DURCH OBERBURGERMEISTER GUSTAV BOSZ NAMENS DER STADT BERLIN BEI SEINEM BESUCH 1929. TRANSLATION: To Major H. A. Mackey for the city of Philadelphia, dedicated by General Mayor Gustav Bosz on behalf of the City of Berlin on the occasion of his visit in 1929.
