A RUSSIAN SOVIET WWII MILITARY PROPAGANDA POSTER
A soviet military poster designed in 1941 by N. Muratov, author of "Combat Pencil" - a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters during the WWII. The Russian text is quote of a S. Spassky poem “Two ridges” read as follows: “…Then he convinced that the Ural range is far from him, stopped dreaming and got hurt the ridge himself” with a two painted scenes. The first one shows a caricature Hitler planning to attack the Urals range, and on the second one, he was slammed in the back with a rifles butt.
