A RUSSIAN SOVIET MILITARY PROPAGANDA POSTER
A soviet military poster designed in 1942 by V. Serov, author of "Combat Pencil" - a creative association of Leningrad artists who produced propaganda posters during the WWII. The Russian text read as follows: “True to duty and honor, defending their lands, Leningrad women go into the battle with their fathers and brothers” with a painted Soviet woman shooting a revolver and supported a wounded man on the battlefield.
