AN ANTIQUE RUSSIAN KUZNETSOV PORCELAIN PLATE
A Russian Kuznetsov Factory porcelain plate. The rim decorated with foliate swags alternating with the top of an Ionic column, the cavetto featuring garland swags with a profile of a Roman gladiator within a laurel wreath, against a white ground. Marked with overglaze green factory mark, and impressed, number 81, on verso. Circa 1894-1917.
