KWAKIUTL INDIGENOUS TRIBAL ART BY MARK HENDERSON
Mark Henderson, born in 1953, is an artist from British Columbia whose work is deeply influenced by the culture of the Kwakwaka'wakw Nation, indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast. A color stonecut print depicting a house covered with traditional figurative ornaments. Titled Place of Thunder. Signed and dated 1999 in the lower left. Numbered 29 out of 140. A short biography of the artist is placed on the backside. Black wooden frame. Provenance: TC & TC, The Collective And The Collection, NYC.
