Tavik Simon, an aquatint printed in color etching depicting a scene in front of a junk shop. Signed by the artist in the plate with the initials and additionally lower right in pencil. Copyright by Les Graveurs Modernes, Paris, as inscribed upper left. Circa the early 20th century. Numbered. Tavik Frantisek Simon, 1877 to 1942, was a Czech painter, etcher, and woodcut artist. Many of his most notable images are of Prague, New York, and Paris, but also include portraiture and self-portraiture and images of the Czech and Slovak countryside.
