An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. Saint Nicholas has depicted frontally half figured wearing special clothes, blessing with his right hand and holding Bible with his left one. Palex school style. A mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on wood panel. Inscribed to the center right and left. Circa: early 19th century. Antique Russian Religious Items and Collectibles.
