AMERICAN SEASCAPE OIL PAINTING BY CHARLES VICKERY
Charles Bridgeman Vickery, American, 1913 to 1998, oil painting on canvas depicting a sea scape with a ship or a sail boat. Signed lower left. Framed. Charles Vickery was an American painter. He is best known for his naturalistic depictions of historic ships in the open ocean and crashing waves in all types of weather and times of day. He deeply loved the ocean and the paintings of Winslow Homer. One of a kind artwork.
