ANTIQUE TURKISH OTTOMAN ARABIC MINIATURE PAINTING
An antique Turkish Ottoman black and colored ink on paper miniature painting depicting peasants within a rural landscape. With the text above. Signed to the left in Arabic. Matted and framed. Circa the late 19th century. Turkish miniature was a Turkish art form in the Ottoman Empire, which can be linked to the Persian miniature tradition, as well as strong Chinese artistic influences.
