BRITISH ART DECO CUT GLASS AND SILVER CANDY BOWL
An antique British cut glass footed candy dish with sterling silver rims. Rounded form, Art Deco style. Hallmarks on the rim: a walking lion indicating that the item was made in England, an IR maker's mark, and the letter I on a shield may stand for the years 1932 or 1933. Collectible Art Deco Glass Items. Provenance: Anna Feltsman Estate. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman 1921-2013 was a Russian Ukrainian-born composer of Lithuanian Jewish descent. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born in 1952 a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman.
Dimensions: H 5 3/4 in, D 5 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Has one small chip on the edge of 3rd glass ring of the bowl. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
