Color lithograph by Japser Johns, born 1930, an American artist associated with Abstract Expressionism, Neo-Dada, and Pop Art movements. The artwork presents a series of quotes and references dear to the artist, such as a lithograph by Barnett Newman in the top right, an illustration of Moby Dick in the background, and ceramic pieces by George Ohr floating around, along with a work by Johns himself, the iconic double flags. Titled Ventriloquist II. Dated 1986. Printed by Keith Brintzenhofe, Universal Limited Art Editions. Signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right. Marked AP, 9 out of 10 in penil in the lower left. Black mat. Collectible Mid Century American Graphic Art.
