MARC CHAGALL PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM 1985 EXHIBITION POSTER
A 1986 Philadelphia Museum of Art offset lithograph poster for their May 12th to July 7th 1986 Marc Chagall retrospective exhibition. It depicts Marc Chagalls oil on canvas painting Lovers Under Lilies with a kissing couple under a large floral arrangement upon a blue and pink background, circa 1922-25. Signed in print lower left. Marc Zakharovich Chagall is a Russian and French artist of Jewish origin. In addition to graphics and painting, he was also engaged in scenography, wrote poetry in Yiddish.
