An extremely fine and highly detailed antique Sitzendorf porcelain figurine of Napoleon crossing the Alps, modeled after the famous painting by French artist Jacques-Louis David, 1748 to 1825. Neatly hand painted and accented with gilding. Accompanied by the original name plaque. Circa the late 19th or early 20th century. Marked with the blue ink manufacturers stamp on the bottom.
