Emile Eisman Semenowsky, born Emil Eismann, Russian, French, 1853 to 1918, oil on board painting depicting a portrait of a young woman in profile, 1889. Signed by the artist and dated lower left: Eisman Semenowsky, Paris 1889. Framed. Emile Eisman Semenowsky was a French painter of Russian birth and Polish, possibly Jewish, ancestry.
