A Russian Neoclassical paper knife or letter opener in the style of a Roman gladius sword. The blade is made of polished agate. The gilt silver handle is decorated with cobalt blue guilloche enamel, set with amethyst cabochons and overlay monogram F.Ya. The handle has an Imperial Eagle finial. Hallmark of 88 silver standard and makers mark are on the handle. Total Weight: 80 grams. The item comes in original box.
