ANTIQUE JAPANESE MEIJI ERA BRONZE KAPPA GROUP
An antique Japanese cast bronze sculpture, Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. The sculpture depicts kappa, a Japanese mythical amphibious creature, standing with one foot on a bunch of grapes, wearing a large lotus leaf as a hat.
