FEMALE NUDE BRONZE SCULPTURE BY ARISTIDE MAILLOL
A bronze sculpture by Aristide Maillol, 1861 to 1944, a famous French sculptor, painter and printmaker. The sculpture depicts a nude woman in a complex, expressive, but at the same time airy pose, either falling or rising. After the monumental garden sculpture titled The River, executed in the years 1938 to 1943. Marked on the base with initials: AM. The figurine is mounted on a stone base.
