MARC CHAGALL ORIGINAL 1970 EXHIBITION POSTER
An original 1970 Galerie des Ponchettes lithograph poster for their July 10th to August 16th 1970 Marc Chagall exhibition MARC CHAGALL Posters, Lithographs, Illustrated books. It depicts Marc Chagalls painting Baie de Nice. Signed in print lower right. The print was executed by Fernand Mourlot, 1895 to 1988, a French printmaker who worked with Pablo Picasso, Pierre Bonnard and Henri Matisse. Marc Zakharovich Chagall was a Russian and French artist of Jewish origin. In addition to graphics and painting, he was also engaged in scenography, wrote poetry in Yiddish.
