AMERICAN CITYSCAPE PAINTING BY WILLIAM MEYEROWTIZ
William Meyerowtiz, American, 1887 to 1981, a watercolor painting on paper depicting a cityscape with houses and channels, and a person in front. Signed by the artist lower right. Matted and framed. William Meyerowtiz was an artist known for his paintings and etchings. He and his father immigrated to New York City in 1908, and they settled in the Lower East Side.
