An American oil painting on canvas attributed to Man Ray. The painting depicts fantastic blue creatures dancing in the moonlight on the top of a cliff. Signed and dated 1950 lower right. Man Ray, 1890 to 1976, is a French and American artist, photographer, and film director, representative of surrealist photography and New Vision photography. In 1999, he was recognized by Art News magazine as one of the 25 most influential artists of the 20th century. American Surrealistic Painting. One of a kind artwork.
