INDIAN ACRYLIC PAINTING BY SAYED HAIDER RAZA W COA
Sayed Haider Raza, or S.H. Raza, Indian, 1922 to 2016, acrylic painting on canvas, Vistar, 2005. The artwork depicts an abstract geometrical composition. Signed and dated, lower right. Additionally signed, inscribed, titled, and dated, on the backside. Syed Haider Raza was considered one of the most prominent Indian painters of his generation. In his innovative abstract works, Raza often used concentric circles and geometric patterns which referenced the Tantric ideologies of Hinduism and Buddhism, while his representational paintings often depicted landscapes and urban scenes both in France and India. A co-founder of the Bombay Progressive Artists Group PAG, along with Krishna Hawlaji Ara and Francis Newton Souza. Indian Fine Art, Abstract Paintings, Wall Art, and Collectibles.
