CHARLES AMAND DURAND AFTER REMBRANDT ETCHING WITH COA
Copper plate etching by Charles Amand Durand, 1837 to 1917, a French engraver who for his fine reproductions of Old Masters. After the 1638 etching titled Self-Portrait with Plumed Beret by Rembrandt van Rijn, 1606 to 1669, a prominent Dutch Golden Age artist. Published by Editions Dominique Vincent et Cie, ca. 1000 impressions, ref. no. 20, Rembrandt au Bonnet. White mat, golden frame. Certifiacte of authenticity dated 1993 is attached to the backside.
