SOVIET ERA COLD WAR POLITICAL POSTER BY KUKRYNIKSY
A vintage Russian Soviet era poster designed by Kukryniksy. Published by Plakat publishing house, 1984. Circulation of 15 100 copies. Kukryniksy was a collective name, which is derived from the names of three caricaturists Mikhail Kupriyanov, Porfiri Krylov, and Nikolai Sokolov who had met at VKhUTEMAS, a Moscow art school, in the early 1920s. Published by the Iskusstvo State Publishing House, Moscow, Leningrad, 1942. Russian And Soviet Propaganda And Military Posters, Graphic Art Prints, And Collectibles.
