Theophile Alexandre Steinlen, French, 1859 to 1923, a lithographic poster on paper, Death from Starvation in Enemy Territory. Signed and dated 1917 in the print, to the center right. Titled in the print, upper to the center. Marked in the print in the lower margin. Framed. Theophile Alexandre Steinlen was a Swiss born French Art Nouveau painter and printmaker. He was politically engaged and collaborated with anarchist and socialist press. European Graphic Art Prints, WWI Military Posters, and Collectibles.
