LTD MODERN AMERICAN WOMEN ETCHING BY DAVID BUMBECK
David A. Bumbeck, American, born 1940, a limited edition etching on paper, Sunbathers, depicting a group portrait of three reclining women. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered 7 of 40 in pencil, lower to the center. Titled in pencil, lower left. David Bumbeck is known for Printmaking, teaching. Born in 1940, David Bumbeck received his B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and a M.F.A. from Syracuse University. For the last 20 years, he has been a professor at Middlebury College in Vermont. Bumbeck employs techniques of intaglio printmaking such as etching, aquatint, engraving and photo transfer. The human figure has been the dominant motif in his prints for over 25 years. Modern and Contemporary Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
