RUSSIAN GILT SILVER CUT GLASS INKWELL WITH DIAMONDS
A Russian cut glass inkwell with silver mounts. The hinged lid is decorated with a gilt silver head of a bearded man with a helmet as the central design element and set with diamonds on the top. The finial rests on a ridged silver base, connected to a clear, glass base which has a geometric, faceted design. The front side of the base is adorned with a decorative gilt filigree design, embellished with small diamonds. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian silver standard and makers mark on the lid. Collectible Russian Silverware, Jewelry, Desk Accessories And Writing Instruments, Cabinet Decor. Total weight 615 g.
