ANTIQUE RUSSIAN MINIATURE PORTRAIT OF ALEXANDER I
An Imperial Russian miniature enamel portrait on oval copper plaque. The artwork depicts a portrait of Alexander the I, Emperor of Russia from 1801 until 1825. The monarch is presented with The National Order of the Legion of Honour, the highest French order of merit established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte.
