Martiros Saryan, Armenian, 1880 to 1972, an oil painting on board depicting a landscape with a Armenian church in the middle, circa the 1950s. Signed lower right. Framed. With the provenance information on the label mounted to the back. Martiros Saryan was a member of the USSR Academy of Fine Arts, president of the Artists Union of Soviet Armenia, the founder of a modern Armenian national school of painting.
