CYPRIOT POTTERY VESSEL
Ca. 750 - 600 BC.A pottery vessel characterised by its inverted piriform body that gracefully tapers to a small circular foot. A tubular neck expands to a funnel-shaped mouth, crowned with a pronounced rim. The handle protrudes from the shoulder and joins the rim. The exterior has a monochrome register of multiple horizontal bands.Size: 130mm x 85mm; Weight: 150gProvenance: Private UK collection; From an old London collection formed in the 1990s.
