Letter from Rabbi Yaakov Frenkel-Teomim, AB"D of Kolaczyce and Podgorze, Son-in-law of Reb Moshe of Shinova, 1922
Letter about a factory that was secretly discovered to have been making products for Pesach for years, without a kashrus supervisor, and now has hired a mashgiach (supervisor) who is only 18 years old and has insufficient knowledge to supervise properly and will cause people to transgress. The letter mentions the Machzikei Daas kashrus supervisory body and the rabbi of Šurany, and asked that the letter be burned after it is read.
Rabbi Yaakov Frenkel-Teomim (1867-1929) was the son of Rabbi Shimon Alter and the son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Moshe Halberstam of Sieniawa. Rabbi Yaakov was appointed Av Beis Din in Kolaczyce in 1890 and later succeeded his father as Av Beis Din of Podgorze.
