Very unique Letter from Rabbi Moshe Shimon Tzvi Haberfeld, Av Beis Din of Topolchan, 1921
A long letter of Torah thought and a request for a recommendation for him to be appointed rabbi of Tishe-Tyszowce, noting that the rabbi of Mad (the Levush Mordechai) had already provided such a recommendation, and that the letter of recommendation is to by given to Rabbi Mosheโs son, Rabbi Yaakov Haberfeld (who later became the Av Beit Din of Pápa)
Rabbi Moshe Shimon Tzvi Halevy Haberfeld was the son of Rabbi Yaakov Haberfeld and a student of the Shevet Sofer the Levush Mordechai of Mad, the Maharitz Dushinsky and the Daas Sofer. Rabbi Moshe was murdered by the Nazis in 1945.
