Letter from Rabbi Avraham Shlomo Hirsch, the Av Beis Din of Beregszász
A long letter to the Chief rabbi of Chust admonishing him not to go to Eretz Yisrael and leave his flock.
Rabbi Avraham Shlomo Hirsch (1892-1944) was the son-in-law of Rabbi Shlomo Sofer, the Av Beis Din of Beregszász and managed his father-in-law’s yeshiva. He was murdered by the Nazis in Auschwitz in Iyar, 1944.
On his official stationery. 28x22 cm. Very fine condition.
