ANTÓNIO NEVES (b. 1963), "S. Gonçalinho"
Silkscreen on canvas (Fine Giclee Art). Titled: "S. Gonçalinho". Signed and numbered 2/12.Size: 100x100 cm. António Neves (b. 1963) developed and refined drawing and painting techniques at the Vista Alegre Porcelain Factory. In 1987 he began a professional career in the visual arts. He chooses the meticulous technique of watercolor as a reference for his artistic work. He uses several techniques, in addition to watercolor, being recognized for painting on canvas and sculpture in steel, in addition to the large tile murals. His work crosses several themes, however, the Ria de Aveiro and our cities are a prominent presence, in a pictorial universe rich in landscapes and details of the urban and rural spaces we inhabit.
