Great War Luftwaffe ace Fritz John Jacobsen signed Hans Rossbach 54 sqn RAF cover. Rare. Fritz John Jacobsen [1894 1981] was a prominent German fighter ace of the First World War who was credited with 8 aerial victories. Jacobsen learned to fly in 1914 before entering the military in 1915. During his flying career he served with Jagdstaffel 9, 17, 31, 73 and scored his first victory December 16, 1916. Jacobsen was shot down twice during engagements and finished the war with 8 confirmed and two unconfirmed aerial victories and was awarded the Iron Cross in both classes. Good condition.
