At Kemble on 16 September 1976, ex - flt Sgt 'Dixie' Alexander id shown over AB910 by one of the civilian technicians. On 19 August 1942, as an Eagle pilot on No 133 Sqn, Dixie shot down a Dornier 217 in AB910. filed by Flt Sgt 'Dixie' Alexander on 19th August 1942 after his successful combat sortie in AB910. Size 8 ¼ by 5 . Personally Signed by Richard Lear 'Dixie' Alexander Eagle Sqn WW11 Ace 6. Richard Lear Alexander (July 22, 1914 - April 19, 1993) was an American World War II fighter ace who fought for the Allies in both the Royal Canadian Air Force and the United States Army Air Forces.
