A mother-of-pearl artifact representing the Baptism of Jesus by the hand of St. John. 18th Century. - Most likely  carved by the sculptor friars of the Franciscan Order in the Holy Land, the artefact represents the Baptism of Jesus by the hand of St. John the Baptist in the center and all around the episode of the 14 stations of the Via Crucis.
