Antique Oak Leaf and Reel Quilt 1840s
Antique 1840-1850s Oak Leaf and Reel Quilt measuring 72x90 inches. Consists of 20 blocks, set straight 4 by 5, and measuring about 16.6x17 inches. One border measuring 3.5 inches with appliqued leaves and flowers. I believe the yellow and green fabrics to be possibly English. This cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. Edge is finished with the back being brought to the front, and applied by hand, only 1/8 inch wide. It is hand appliqued, hand pieced, and sparsely hand quilted. In good condition with minor fabric deterioration, small marks, and some fading. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots we can pack, it may cost an additional $5.
