Antique c1870s Carolina Lily Quilt measuring 78 x 79 inches. Comprised of a nine block arrangement with five quatrefoil Carolina Lily blocks set straight, 3 by 3 with alternating solid white blocks. Blocks measure 20 x 20 inches, surrounded by a 3.25 inch wide green diamond border, a 3.25 inch wide solid white border, and a 3.25 inch wide red diamond border. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting with white cotton reverse and green print applied binding. Hand inked in one corner is the name "Clara." In good condition with brown shadows around the green print fabric probably due to the age of the dye, and storage line discoloration through the center. There are some small superficial spots. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
