POP EYE DIME REGISTER BANK 1929 - A 'cash register' for dime coins (10 US cents) - on the front, Popeye's figure. On the wall are pictures of the other 'Popeye' heroes. The box was created in the year the character was invented - 1929. When insert a 10 cent coin, the inner tab spin and shows "10". The cash register is in very good condition 'working' (the next 10 cent coin will show "20"). When a total of 5$ accumulates at the cash register, the back tab opens and the coins can to be taken out. Extremely rare.
Popeye the Sailor Man - The famous comic book and cartoon character was invented by Elzie Segar on January 17, 1929 as one of the "Thimble Theater" comic characters. When Popeye gets into trouble, he eats spinach from a can, and gains tremendous power, usually to save his beloved Olive Oyl from his enemy Bluto. the figure has received countless cartoons of Popeye in the cinema, and is most famous comic character in the 20th century, with numerous objects made in the image of Popeye.
