Sahib ve Bas Muharriri ILYAZER MENDA LA VERA LUZ 'True Light' - "Weekly Jewish -Turkish political Newspaper" - Volume of issues - 160 consecutive issues that have been published for four years - From June 5, 1961 to September 24, 1964. . Owner and Editor-in-Chief Elazar Menda. A Jewish newspaper published in Turkey. On the title page of each issue, the verse is written in Hebrew: "כי עמך מקור חיים באורך נראה אור" and the purpose of the newspaper: "Haftalık Siyasi Türkçe Musevice Gazete" - 'A weekly Turkish political Jewish newspaper'. Spanish, Turkish, and some Hebrew. The newspaper was published once every two weeks on Friday (each issue lists Shabbat entry times and prayer times). Extremely rare. 


The newspaper which began publishing in November 1950 regularly dealt with the internal affairs of the Jewish community in Turkey, Jewish Holydays, relations between the various Jewish communities, and relations between Jews and other peoples in Turkey and abroad, Politics in Israel, Hebrew poetry and literature and more. The editorial was regularly written by the owner Elazar Menda, and among the authors were Moshe Levy, Belman, and Isak Missistrano. Many lawyers, well-known doctors and writers also wrote in it. The newspaper is accompanied by many advertisements of Jewish business owners in Turkey, kosher restaurants, advertisements of Israeli companies, and more. In every issue that came out ahead of a Jewish holiday, it was written in large Hebrew letters: "Moadim LeSimcha", and towards the holy days, the headline that appears: "Tizku LeShanim Rabot" in Hebrew. In some of the sheets, Turkish stamps were pasted on the title page.
