The album contains 20 postcards placed in its pockets - illustrations of Jewish family scenes made by Oppenheim, depicting the life of the Jewish family - the godfather awaiting the child, taking out the Torah scroll, the rabbi's blessing, the exam, the bar mitzvah sermon, the wedding, welcoming the Sabbath, Sabbath eve, Sabbath at noon, Sabbath rest in the alley, Havdalah at the end of the Sabbath, Passover seder night, in the sukkah, Yom Kippur eve, Purim (a very rare postcard), the wanderer in the village, the soldier (a very rare postcard), the return of the soldier, Hanukkah, Simchat Torah.

A colorful postcard is attached to the album cover in a designated window, depicting a Jewish soldier returning home to his family - hand-painted (one of the rare postcards in the series).

A special introduction about the artist Moritz Daniel Oppenheim, his life, works, and unique work style (German). Two title pages. The title of the first title page: Gruss aus NAH & FERN - "Greetings from far and near". And an illustration showing a girl sending a postcard in the mail. All the pages of the album are decorated with leaves and flowers and the figure of a boy waving his hat.
