VERY RARE print of the statutes of the Cistercian Order of Alcobaça, printed by António Alvares in 1593. It is a very rare piece of Portuguese printing from the late 16th century, illustrated with beautiful woodcut capitals and some engravings. Inocêncio only saw one specimen and Anselmo registers four.
