First volume of the edition printed by Pedro Craesbeeck in 3 volumes. Major work by Fr. Marcos de Lisboa with the biography of St. Francis and the chronicle of the Order. The first part was originally published with the title “First part of the Chronicas of the Order of Friars Minor of the Seraphic Father Sam Francisco...” printed in Lisbon, Joanes Blavio de Colonia, 1557 and the second part in 1562 in the same place and printer. The third part of the work was only published in Spanish, having been published for the first time in 1570, Salamanca. Rare.
