FIRST EDITION, very rare, of one of the most important chronicles of the kings of Portugal. Written by Rui de Pina, the work is one of the most important primary sources for the reign of King Afonso IV, the Brave. To the original text by Rui de Pina, the editor added a text that Pedro de Mariz, at the time the clerk at Torre do Tombo, wrote for an edition that ended up not being published in his lifetime.
