A very popular work of its time, which went through several editions throughout the 16th century. The first edition is from 1549, followed by others from 1558, 1567, 1578 and the present one from 1592, the last one published in that century. The work was authored by a lawyer from Casa da Suplicação, who was born in Lisbon and who, according to Inocêncio, gained fame during the reign of King João III. This edition has several folio numbering errors: numbering begins on folio 3, on fol. 19 begins page numbering up to page 23 and thereafter folio numbering again. Rare.
