FIRST EDITION, rare. A fundamental work on the subject, it is illustrated with 16 folding engravings representing the ventilation plans of various hospitals, theaters and schools, as well as numerous illustrations in the text. The mathematician Arthur Morin (1795-1880, director of the Conservatoire national des Arts & Métiers, and his studies on the subject were considered of great importance and value.
