OTTO MEISSNER
(1880-1953) Head of the Office of the President of Germany from 1920 to 1945. Typed letter signed, Berlin 29. June 1928, Office of the Reichs President (Hindenburg) letterhead, 8.25 x 11.5 inches, 1 page. To the publisher Eigenbroeder Verlag, Berlin: '...enclosed is a signed picture of the Reichs President with a handwritten essay for the work 'Germany's minds of the present about Germany's future.' The handwritten submission of Herrn Reichs President should bear the footnote 'From the book of Field Marshal and Reichs President von Hindenburg 'From my life.' Signed bei Otto Meissner at conclusion in black ink. One fold, minor creases.
