52 colored illustrations of the artwork of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. There is also one photo of him and several of his architecture project which are an additional 12 illustrations in B&W. Throughout is biographical information with analysis of his style and comments on his artwork. The art work ranges from 1948 to 1981. There are also several additional features: a chronology of his life from 1928 to 1985 (he died in 2000), a listing of exhibition catalogues and also a bibliography of books about the artist. Three of the illustrations are tipped in and not just printed on the page: the public housing project in modern architecture design he worked on in Vienna in 1985, a self portrait of 1974, and one drawing The Miraculous Draught of Fishes from 1950. Published by Crown in 1985 and printed in Italy. 96 pages. This hardbound book is in like new condition; the book jacket is in very good condition.
