A lithograph on paper depicting 2nd Light Guards Cavalry Division. St. Petersburg, edition of the Russian Military Chronicle. Drawn on the stone by Ulrikh, lithographed by V. Darleng. Karl Karlovich Piratsky (Russian, 1813-1871) - battle painter, portrait painter, watercolorist. In 1838, he began working on a series of drawings for the historical description of clothing and weapons of the Russian army. Since 1855 - Head of the drawing department of the Editorial Office of the Military Chronicle at the War Ministry.
